On October 15th, the United Nations Global Geographic Information Management Forum was held in Chengdu. Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Ministry of Land and Resources, Mr. Xu Deming, Deputy Secretary of United Nations, Mr. Wu Hongbo, Deputy Governor of Sichuan Province, Mr. Wang Ning attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Nearly 200 people from different organizations, countries and continents gathered in this grand forum.
KQ GEO Technologies, Co., Ltd. participated in this forum as the representative of geographic information industry. The high-accuracy and real-time Deformation Monitoring System was brought by KQ GEO in this forum, which is specially designed for detecting the slight deformation of artificial constructions and natural terrains and landforms. The system can conduct 24-hour monitoring and support GPS, Beidou, GLONASS、GALILEO and other satellite systems, which realizes 3mm for real-time observation and 1mm for daily observation. Deformation Monitoring System provides data access of other automatic sensors in order to improve the working efficiency. This system currently has been applied in the construction of landslide and debris flow monitoring and early warning in Northwestern China.
